Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our dedicated company representative will warmly welcome you. A short 10-15 minutes’ drive will take you to The Boma Hotel Entebbe, where you’ll enjoy a comfortable overnight stay with breakfast.
After a delicious breakfast at The Boma Hotel Entebbe, embark on an exciting journey to Kibale Forest National Park. The scenic drive will take you through papyrus swamps and the dense jungles of Africa, offering you a glimpse of the diverse landscapes of Uganda. In the afternoon, explore the enchanting Ndali crater lake. Later drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Embark on an early morning adventure with a thrilling chimpanzee trek in the dense jungles of Kibale. Known as the best reserve in Africa to view these intelligent primates, Kibale offers a unique experience in a lush environment with a towering canopy.
In the afternoon, drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying scenic views and wildlife sightings along the way. Nestled in southwestern Uganda, Queen Elizabeth N.P. is renowned for its diverse ecosystems and wildlife, including 5000 hippos, 2500 elephants, and over 10,000 buffaloes thriving in its grasslands. During the drive, engage in game viewing and keep an eye out for the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector of the park. Relax at the lodge for a dinner and overnight.
Embark on an early morning game drive after breakfast, as the African wildlife is most active during the dawn hours. Traverse the savannah, witnessing the beauty of elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbuck, leopards, Uganda kobs, warthogs, a variety of birds, and primates.
Following lunch, indulge in a scenic boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, connecting Lakes Edward and George. Marvel at the vast numbers of hippos, along with other animals gathering at the waterhole for drinking and bathing. Encounter buffaloes, crocodiles, bathing elephants, and a diverse array of beautiful birds during this relaxing and picturesque cruise.
Later resort to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Embark on a scenic journey after breakfast, heading towards Bwindi through the breathtaking landscape of tea plantations, showcasing East Africa’s most spectacular scenery. Traverse highland rainforests, which extend to the volcanoes that house the majestic mountain gorillas. This lush highland rainforest is a haven for primates and exotic birds.
Arriving in Bwindi in the afternoon, engage in cultural experiences that offer insights into the local traditions and way of life. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of the region. (Approximately 5-6 hours’ drive).
Later have dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Embark on a thrilling adventure after breakfast as you prepare for gorilla trekking, commencing at 7:30 a.m. with a comprehensive briefing. Equip yourself with essentials such as a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, and jungle boots. The experienced guides will lead you into the heart of the jungle to encounter the elusive mountain gorillas, an encounter that ranks among the most exhilarating wildlife experiences.
Don’t forget to bring your lunch boxes and all necessary gear for tracking the rare mountain gorillas. The duration of the tracking may vary, ranging from 2 to 10 hours, contingent on the proximity of the gorilla family. The effort invested in this trek is immensely rewarded by the awe-inspiring experience. Relax at the lodge as you await for dinner and overnight.
Commence your journey back to Kampala in the morning, taking a lunch break at Agip Motel Mbarara. Enjoy a stopover at the Equator Uganda crossing and Mpambire drum makers, offering a brief photo opportunity and an opportunity to acquire souvenirs. The drive continues to Entebbe for your evening flight back home, encompassing approximately 8-9 hours on the road.
