3 Days Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Experience

Embark on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a morning departure from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe at 7 am. Your experienced tour guide/driver will lead you on a scenic drive southwestward. Along the way, enjoy a stopover at the equator for a unique experiment and photo opportunity. Take a break for lunch in Mbarara as you continue your drive.
As the day progresses, you’ll reach Bwindi National Park in the early evening. Prepare for a delightful stay at Rushaga Gorilla Camp, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Embark on an early morning adventure after a hearty breakfast. Walk to the park headquarters for a comprehensive briefing on the guidelines and regulations for gorilla tracking. Following the briefing, proceed to the gorilla trail for an awe-inspiring experience. Gorilla tracking durations vary but generally range from 2 to 8 hours, and it could extend to a full day in search of these magnificent creatures. Once you encounter the gorillas, you’ll have the privilege of spending at least an hour in their presence.
It is recommended to carry a packed lunch, as the duration of the gorilla tracking cannot be precisely determined. After the gorilla tracking, if time and energy permit, consider taking a community tour to interact with the Batwa people.
Return to your accommodation in the evening to unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.
